Published on August 3, 2020, Kenyan international defender Erick Ouma has resumed training with top-tier side AIK after a three-month injury layoff.
Ouma suffered a fibula fracture while training with the club and underwent corrective surgery.
Meanwhile, Kenyan international Johanna Omolo featured for Cercle Brugge in a friendly match against KV Oostende at the Diaz Arena on Saturday.
However, Cercle Brugge suffered a 3-1 defeat with Kévin Vandendriessche scoring the opening goal for Oostende, followed by additional goals from Francois Marquet and Makhtar Gueye after the break.
Guy Mbenza scored Brugge's consolation goal, and Omolo was substituted in the 76th minute for Malian midfielder Aldom Deuro.
Despite being out of contract with Cercle Brugge, reliable sources indicate that Omolo is set to renew his contract, despite interest from several Asian clubs.
