On Monday, August 3, 2020, Edgar Obare, a Kenyan blogger, appeared before Kiambu Law Courts, following his arrest on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
Obare was charged with disclosing personal data in a case involving Natalie Wanjiru Githinji, popularly known as Natalie Tewa.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the court adjourned the case pending a bail hearing at 2:00 pm on the same day.
Obare's arrest came after he shared a series of posts on his Instagram stories, alleging that Natalie Tewa was part of a group that visited ODM leader Raila Odinga in Dubai.
