On August 2, 2020, a close call was narrowly avoided when two speeding vehicles veered off the road and crashed along Mombasa road in Nairobi.
A helmet cam captured the dramatic footage, which was shared on social media by a biker who managed to escape the reckless drivers.
The video shows the two vehicles speeding past the biker and a lorry before crashing into thickets by the roadside.
One of the occupants of the vehicles can be seen stepping out of the car with a bottle of alcohol, raising concerns about the drivers' state of mind.
Another motorist who encountered the drivers before the accident commented on the post, saying: 'These guys passed me at Mua hills. I'm so lucky I had parked my car on the roadside. They were racing down the hill in sharp corners without a care in the world that they would find an oncoming car ahead. This could have been worse. They should thank God.'
