On 1 August, Hippo.co.za launched a new partnership with MortgageMe, a pioneering digital home loan platform, to offer home loan comparison services on its website.
Visitors to Hippo.co.za can now apply for home finance through MortgageMe's fully digitalised process, which simplifies the home loan application process.
According to Andrea Tucker, director of MortgageMe, the company is thrilled to add another distribution channel to its growing platform: 'We're proud to partner with Hippo by providing our bond origination platform and assisting to put mortgage applications directly in the hands of prospective home buyers.'
Tucker explained that MortgageMe has leveraged technology advancements to create a home loan application process that enables tech-savvy home buyers to complete an application in record-time.
Bradley Du Chenne, CEO of Hippo, stated that being technology-first was a prerequisite for the comparison business: 'We wanted a home loan service that would not only enable our customers, but make an arduous task much easier to process.'
