Comedian Vincent Muasya, popularly known as Chipukeezy, has credited his former Kiss FM co-host Caroline Mutoko for giving him a career boost. Speaking on the Churchill Show on Sunday, August 2, 2020, Chipukeezy revealed that Mutoko played a critical role in creating a lasting relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to Chipukeezy, Mutoko arranged for him to interview President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House. He narrated that Mutoko told him, 'I want you to go to State House and interview the President. They have called me, but I don't want to go, you go.'

Chipukeezy further explained that when he was handed the interview questions, he started doubting his ability to go through with the interview based on his English language ability. However, he asked President Uhuru Kenyatta about the whereabouts of Ngina, the first daughter, and they became friends.

After their initial meeting during the interview, the comedian disclosed that their friendship would flourish, and he would perform several times for President Uhuru. He added that every time they meet, everyone sticks to their profession, with the President dealing with presidential issues and he doing comedy.

Chipukeezy's friendship with President Uhuru Kenyatta developed further, and he was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors at the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA). He revealed that he was appointed without his knowledge, and he only learned about it when his mother sent him a Gazette notice.
