August 3, 2020 - Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is reportedly set to tie the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony later this month.
According to a family friend, Diamond has been in a low-key relationship since parting ways with Tanasha Don Juan, and they are set to get married soon.
Former Tanzanian County Commissioner Paul Makonda, a close friend of the Dangote family, recently revealed that the dowry ceremony of Diamond Platnumz will be held this month.
During Esma Platnumz's wedding, Makonda let slip that the Dangote family was planning Diamond's traditional wedding, stating, 'Lakini mama (@mama_dangote ) ulinipa kazi, kazi hiyo si ndogo ni kubwa lakini nakuhakikishia mwezi huu wa nane tunaenda kutoa mahari ya diamond. we have already agreed and it’s a different woman from whom they are thinking. I saw her and approved.Esma you have opened the way, your brother is next (to get married).'
Diamond also revealed that he will get married soon, adding that by IDD 2021 he will have already settled down, saying, 'Inshaallah mwenyez mungu anijaalie iddi ijayo, nami niile nikiwa kwenye ndoa.(may God grant me the opportunity to celebrate my next IDD as a married man)'
However, Diamond's rumored relationship with former Miss Universe Tanzania Jihan Dimack was recently quashed by the lady herself, who termed their relationship as 'Friendship' and not more.
