On July 27, 2020, Telegram rolled out its latest update, version 6.3, which brings several exciting features to the platform.

One of the standout features is the ability for users to upload profile videos, a feature that was first introduced by Facebook four years ago. Users can now select a frame from their profile video to use as a static profile picture in various scenarios, such as chats. Additionally, users can add stickers to their profile videos to make them more engaging.

Another useful feature is the introduction of 'chat list thumbnails,' which allows users to preview photos sent to them without having to open the chat. This feature is available on both desktop and mobile devices and can be accessed from the chat list or notification dropdown.

Group admins will also appreciate the new feature that allows them to view detailed group activity using informative graphs. These graphs reveal who engages in the most chatter in the group and who types and sends the longest messages. However, this feature is only available for groups with at least 500 members.

Other notable features in the latest update include improvements to the 'People Nearby' feature, a 'beauty mode' for taking photos and videos, the ability to mute and archive chats from unknown numbers, and a redesigned music player. The update also increases the storage capacity for file sharing, allowing users to transfer files up to 2GB in size.
