On July 20, 2020, news broke out about August Alsina's affair with Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of Hollywood actor Will Smith.
Just weeks after the scandal, August Alsina has released a new song called 'Entanglement', which seems to reference the affair.
According to the lyrics of the song, 'Entanglement is when you are entangled in the sheets. Girl I know we don’t call it a relationship but you still f$cking with me.'
August Alsina's new song 'Entanglement' appears to be a reflection of his past relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith, who recently revealed on her Facebook show 'Red Table Talk' that she had an affair with the singer-songwriter during her marriage to Will Smith.
During the show, Jada Pinkett Smith described the split from her husband, saying, 'We decided we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I will go figure out how to make myself happy.'
However, Jada Pinkett Smith refuted claims that her husband gave her the go-ahead to stray, saying, 'As time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August.'
Many were shocked about the whole entanglement affair considering August is a friend to Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith.
