On July 20, 2020, a video emerged online showing a Nigerian man who had labelled his wife a witch and sent her packing a year ago, now kneeling down to beg for her forgiveness in the presence of a pastor.
The man, who had cut ties with his wife over witchcraft allegations, was seen pouring his heart out to her, asking the pastor to intervene and persuade her to come back home with him.
According to the video, the man had asked the cleric to help persuade his estranged partner to forgive him and let bygones be bygones.
The pastor pleaded with the lady to forgive her husband, saying God had vindicated her.
It is worth noting that this is not an isolated incident, as there have been several cases of men accusing their wives of witchcraft and subsequently abandoning them.
