Charles Bukeko, popularly known as Papa Shirandula, left a lasting impact on Kenya's entertainment industry as an actor, thespian, singer, and director.
On Sunday, July 19, 2020, his body was transported from Montezuma Funeral home to his final resting place in Busia, amidst an outpouring of emotions from family, friends, and colleagues.
According to Ministry of Health guidelines, Bukeko will be buried on Monday, July 20, 2020.

Bukeko's rise to fame was largely attributed to his iconic role as Papa Shirandula in the popular TV series, which aired on Citizen TV.
