Chelsea Secure FA Cup Finals Spot with 3-1 Win over Man United

Chelsea's Olivier Giroud scored a crucial goal at the stroke of half-time, and Mason Mount doubled the advantage shortly after the restart, capitalizing on a David de Gea goalkeeping blunder.

Harry Maguire's own goal in the 74th minute sealed the win for Chelsea, but Bruno Fernandes earned a consolation for Man United from the penalty spot in the 84th minute.

Chelsea will now face Arsenal in the FA Cup finals, who beat Man City in their semi-final fixture.

Chelsea dominated proceedings from the opening exchanges, with both Marcos Alonso and Mason Mount going close to scoring before the break.

It was Giroud who broke the deadlock just minutes before the break, flicking a neat shot with the outside of the left foot.

Mount doubled the advantage shortly after the restart, capitalizing on De Gea's goalkeeping blunder.

Chelsea's win marked a perfect revenge over Man United, who had defeated the Blues thrice this season.

Man United came into the match in fine shape, having gone unbeaten in 19 matches in all competitions.

However, Chelsea's determination and skill ultimately paid off, securing a 3-1 win and a spot in the FA Cup finals.
