On a dismal Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2020, Leicester City's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League took a significant hit as Tottenham Hotspur secured a 3-0 win.

Harry Kane was the star of the show, scoring two goals in quick succession to seal the win for Spurs.

The match got off to a disastrous start for Leicester City when James Justin scored an own goal in the 6th minute, giving Tottenham an early lead.

Spurs continued to dominate the game, with Son Heung-Min showcasing his skill on the edge of the box before his effort deflected off Justin and found the back of the net.

Leicester City made several changes in the second half, but it was too little, too late as Tottenham's lead was too strong to overcome.

With the win, Tottenham moved up to sixth place in the Premier League standings with 58 points, while Leicester City's Champions League qualification hopes hang in the balance.

They will now face a tough task to qualify for the Champions League, and their focus will shift to their next match against Crystal Palace.
