On July 19, 2020, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced the resumption of certificate of good conduct issuance in 27 Huduma centres across the country, effective Monday.
According to the DCI, the centres will resume operations exactly three weeks after the DCI opened the door for members of the public to pick the vital document from the CBD-based Huduma Centre.
The centres set to resume operations include Nandi, Nyeri, Kisumu, Kisii, Kakamega, Kajiado, Kajiado West, Isiolo, Meru, Siaya, Bungoma, Kwale, Makueni, Nyamira, Busia, Taita Taveta, and Tharaka Nithi counties.
Others include centres in Samburu, Kirinyaga, Homa Bay, Kilifi, Lamu, Muranga, Narok, Migori, and Vihiga counties.
Applicants will be required to book an appointment indicating the date and exact time they intend to visit the centres, the DCI stated.
