As the 2019/20 Premier League season heads into its final week, Leicester City finds themselves in a prime position to secure a top 4 finish.
According to former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, the Foxes have a significant advantage over their rivals, with only a point separating them from Chelsea in third place.
With Manchester City and Liverpool already confirmed in the Champions League, Leicester, Manchester United, and Chelsea are left to battle it out for the two remaining spots.
Manchester United, currently in fifth place with 63 points, has been in impressive form, boasting a 19-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
However, a dropped point against Southampton has given Leicester a lifeline, and Neville believes that the result would have given the Foxes a two-point lead over Manchester United.
"They would have been two points clear with Leicester needing to go to Tottenham and West Ham. It’s really up for grabs. Tottenham v Leicester is a big, big game. Leicester beating Sheffield United was big," Metro UK quoted Neville as saying.
Leicester will face Tottenham in their next match on Sunday, July 19, a game that could prove crucial in determining their top 4 fate.
