Senator Irungu Kang'ata, who led the delegation, said that Kenneth is a capable leader who has the skills to deliver results and support the President's agenda.

"As the President plans to make changes in the cabinet, we urge him to appoint Peter Kenneth," Kang'ata said.

Other leaders who supported Kang'ata's call include MPs Mary Wamaua and Joseph Nduati, who said that Kenneth is a leader who has the support of the people in Murang'a.

"Kenneth is a leader who has the support of the people in Murang'a, and we urge the President to appoint him as a cabinet minister," Wamaua said.

Wamaua and Nduati's comments come as Kenneth has been meeting with other leaders from the region, including those from the Mt. Kenya region.
