Kenyan actor Charles Bukeko, alias Papa Shirandula, left a lasting legacy in the entertainment industry before his untimely passing on July 18, 2020.
According to his family, Papa Shirandula had contracted Covid-19 and was being treated at Karen Hospital before his condition worsened.
His brother-in-law, Rorland Wanyama, revealed that Papa Shirandula had traveled and upon returning to Nairobi, he began feeling unwell. He was subsequently tested positive for Covid-19 and isolated at home.
However, his condition took a turn for the worse, and he developed breathing complications, leading to his untimely demise.
As the family mourns his loss, they have announced the following burial plans:
- The body has been transferred from Karen Hospital to Montezuma Funeral Home.
- Burial will take place on Monday at his home in Busia.
- Travel arrangements are underway to transport his body from Nairobi to Busia by 12 pm tomorrow.
- A Paybill will be activated tomorrow morning for those who wish to make financial contributions to support the family.
