July 18, 2020, marked a historic day for Arsenal as they defeated holders Manchester City 2-0 in the FA Cup semi-final at an empty Wembley Stadium.

Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice, producing a neat finish in the 19th minute and another sublime finish in the 71st minute, to seal the win.

Manchester City dominated the early exchanges but were unable to recover from Aubameyang's first goal, and despite exerting pressure after the break, they were unable to find the back of the net.

Arsenal's victory marked a significant turnaround for the team, who had suffered seven successive defeats against Manchester City, including a 3-0 away league defeat a month ago.

With this win, Arsenal are now one victory away from securing a record-extending 14th FA Cup title for the north Londoners.
