President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to expel six Jubilee Party lawmakers, including Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, has sparked a heated debate within the party.

According to sources, the six legislators - Sudi, Caleb Kositany, Kimani Ngunjiri, Rigathi Gachagua, Alice Wahome, and Moses Kuria - were accused of disrespecting the party leader and publicly calling him out using abusive and derogatory words.

Speaking out against the move, Sudi argued that Uhuru's decision to expel loyal party members was laughable, especially when he had invited "strangers" to the party.

"This is totally laughable. Uhuru is dumping his loyal supporters and going for political rejects in KANU who are less than two in numbers. The president himself deserves a disciplinary action from the party since he invited strangers to our party contrary to wishes of our party members," Sudi said.

The lawmakers were set to face the axe in the ongoing Jubilee purge, with a top party official stating that they would be summoned to appear before a disciplinary committee to respond to the charges.

However, Sudi's remarks elicited mixed reactions on social media, with some calling for his disciplinary action and others urging him to soldier on.
