On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 7:30pm, a brazen robbery took place at a supermarket in Dagoretti, leaving customers and staff shaken.
According to eyewitnesses, the four gangsters arrived in the area on two motorbikes, making rounds before storming into the supermarket.
"They arrived in two motorbikes and they could be seen moving from point to point. Moments later they stormed into the supermarket," said James Otieno, a local resident.
As the gangsters entered the supermarket, one of them shot into the air to scare people, causing chaos and panic among the customers.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but the gangsters made off with an unknown amount of cash and goods.
Police in Dagoretti are now on the hunt for the four gangsters, who were caught on CCTV footage committing the crime.
Just a week ago, Nairobi County police boss Philip Ndolo warned robbers against crime, saying their days were numbered.
