Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has been living her best life in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, despite the COVID-19 lockdown. The founder and owner of Huddah Cosmetics took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her stay in Dubai, which sparked a reaction from one of her followers.
According to reports, a curious fan, identified as Ocs_wa_area_, commented on Huddah's post, saying she had fallen on hard times in Dubai due to the lockdown and should come back home. The comment did not sit well with Huddah, who fired back at the fan, stating that she has fully paid for her hotel accommodation in Dubai for the rest of the year.
"You wish! Niko huku mpaka mchoke! Pambana na hali yako Mr OCS..." Huddah responded, defending her lifestyle choices. This is not the first time Huddah has clapped back at a fan who questioned her decisions. In a previous incident, she put another fan in his place when he tried to question her lifestyle choices.
As reported earlier, Huddah Monroe has been open about her journey to independence, revealing that she made the decision to be independent and operate her own businesses because she was sick and tired of sleeping with old men for money. In a rare confession via her Insta-stories, she wrote, "I wanna make one thing clear, I’m not where I wanna be in life, but, thank God I’m not where I used to be. For me to make the decision that I wanna be independent and have seven business that I’m running is because I was sick and tired of dating and f all these old rich men, being with them was so disrespectful, the way they treated me, the way they made me was so bad."
