Charles Bukeko, popularly known as Papa Shirandula, has left a lasting legacy in the Kenyan entertainment industry.
His infectious sense of humor brought joy to many, including Member of Parliament Charles Kanyi, alias Jaguar.
On social media, Jaguar shared his condolences, saying,
‘My heart goes out to Charles Bukeko’s family. Papa Shirandula was a friend, a good man who helped me laugh in difficult times. He created content for the whole family, a shining light in the world of comedy. He joins Mzee Ojwang & the rest of the angels. Rest in peace my friend.’
Other notable figures, including Ezekiel Mutua and Musalia Mudavadi, also paid their respects to the late comedian.
