Charles Bukeko, a beloved figure in Kenyan entertainment, has left a lasting legacy through his work in the industry.

On July 18, 2020, the 58-year-old actor, popularly known as Papa Shirandula, took his last breath while being rushed to Karen Hospital.

Players in the Kenyan entertainment industry have sent messages of condolences to the family and loved ones of the late actor.

Comedian Jalang'o thanked Papa Shirandula for holding his hands in the industry, while Dr. Ezekiel Mutua described him as a self-made man who epitomized the joy and optimism of Kenyans.

Other notable figures, including Churchill and DJ SADIC, also paid tribute to the late actor, remembering him for the laughter he brought to many Kenyans.

Charles Bukeko leaves behind a wife, Beatrice Ebbie Andega, and three children; Tony, Charlie, and Wendy.
