On July 18, 2020, the entertainment world lost a beloved figure when Charles Bukeko, popularly known as Papa Shirandula, passed away at the age of 58.
Best known for his starring role in Citizen TV's hit comedy series, Papa Shirandula, the actor gained widespread fame and acclaim for his performances.
Although the cause of his death remains unknown, Bukeko's family has confirmed that he died at the Karen Hospital.
Throughout his career, Bukeko was a multiple award-winning actor, including scooping the Kalasha Award for 'Best Actor in a TV Series' in 2010.
