As a result, ViacomCBS, the parent company of MTV, cut ties with Nick Cannon, who hosted the TV show 'Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out' on the network.
Debmar-Mercury, the producers of the show, also announced that they would be postponing the airing of Nick Cannon's new talk show, which was set to debut in September 2020.
According to a spokesperson for Debmar-Mercury, the show will not debut this year, but rather in 2021, after Nick Cannon has had time to meet with leaders of the Jewish community and engage in a dialogue with their distribution partners.
However, the company also condemned anti-Semitism, racism, and hate speech, stating that it runs counter to everything they stand for.
