DP Ruto's Allies Lose Seats in Jubilee Party ¶
Naibu Rais William Ruto's allies in the Jubilee Party have lost their seats in the National Assembly after being replaced by their opponents.
The move is seen as a major blow to Ruto's influence in the party, with many of his allies being replaced by those who are opposed to him.
Among those who lost their seats include Mbunge wa Kikuyu Kimani Ichung'wah, who was previously the chairman of the Budget Committee, and Gladys Shollei of Uasin Gishu, who was a key ally of Ruto.
Others who lost their seats include Moses Kuria of Gatundu, Alice Wahome of Kandara, Wangui Ngirici of Kirinyaga, and William Cheptumo.
The replacements include Mbunge wa Kieni Kanini Kega, who was appointed as the chairman of the Budget Committee, and Mbunge wa Tiaty William Kamket, who was appointed as the chairman of the Law Committee.
Others who gained new positions include Mbunge wa Homa Bay Gladys Wanga, who was appointed as the chairman of the Finance Committee, and Mbunge wa Kieni Kanini Kega, who was appointed as the chairman of the Budget Committee.
The move is seen as a major blow to Ruto's influence in the party, with many of his allies being replaced by those who are opposed to him.
It is worth noting that the Jubilee Party has been facing internal rifts in recent times, with many of its members being opposed to Ruto's leadership.
However, the party's leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta, has been trying to mediate the situation and bring the warring factions together.
It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold, but one thing is certain - the Jubilee Party is facing a major crisis that could have far-reaching consequences for the country's politics.
