Published on July 18, 2020, Nigerian DJ Cuppy has joined forces with East African music sensation Rayvanny and Afrobeats star Rema on a new single 'Jollof on the Jet'.
The song is a smooth blend of Afro-pop, with Cuppy, Rayvanny, and Rema trading verses amidst a relaxed, sun-kissed production.
According to Cuppy, working on the collaboration was an uplifting experience, despite the challenges posed by social distancing. The trio didn't record together in the studio, but the beat brought them together, and they believe they've created a delicious masterpiece.
Rayvanny, who burst onto the scene in 2014 as a DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards, has a strong track record of collaborations. He embarked on the 'Cuppy Takes Africa Tour' in 2015, which was documented in a series aired on Fox Life.
