On July 16, 2020, comedian Timothy Kimani, popularly known as Njugush, sparked a nasty Instagram brand fight with Tours and Travel company Bonfire Adventures.
Njugush, who represents Bountiful Safaris, a rival tours and travel firm, shared a video of his tour in the Masai Mara National Park, accompanied by his wife Wakavinye, son Tugi, and the family of fellow content creator Abel Mutua.
The tour was sponsored by Bountiful Safaris, which led to a video featuring a Bonfire Adventures tour van getting stuck in the rough terrain of the Masai Mara National Park.
As the van was being rescued by Njugush's team and the crew from Bountiful Safaris, Bonfire Adventures took issue with the video, claiming copyright infringement.
“Well….. good morning, we can all win!!!! Smile and be happy,” Njugush said while reacting to the development.
Njugush's fans came to his defense, accusing Bonfire Adventures of lacking a sense of humor and being sore competitors.
