On July 17, 2020, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja found himself in a difficult situation after being arrested at a bar in Nairobi.

According to reports, the Senator was in the company of three other individuals when they were apprehended for violating curfew regulations.

Following their arrest, they were taken to Kilimani Police Station where they spent the night.

Fortunately, Senator Sakaja was released the following day.
