July 17, 2020 - Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has expressed his disappointment with the current state of the Jubilee Party, which he claims has been hijacked by individuals with questionable characters and malicious intent.
Speaking at a burial in Soy constituency, Sudi stated that the party's downfall is not the result of ODM leader Raila Odinga's working with the government, but rather the infighting within President Uhuru Kenyatta's camp.
According to Sudi, Raila took advantage of the situation, just like other politicians, including Gideon Moi, who also capitalized on the party's internal conflicts.
'We are the people who founded this party called Jubilee. I went around with Uhuru during campaigns but today, the party is home to conmen and other funny characters. Raila has no role in the fall out, he just took advantage just like Gideon Moi,' Sudi claimed.
Sudi also expressed his loss of interest in working under Uhuru, including serving in any parliament committee, stating that he does not salivate for any position in the Jubilee regime until God blesses them with leadership.
'I don't want to be elected in any committee. I don't salivate for any position in the Jubilee regime until such a time when God will bless us with leadership. Grab all the positions, you can as well dissolve the party. We are not beggars,' he added.
