Safaricom has announced a 12-hour maintenance on its M-Pesa mobile money transfer platform, scheduled to take place on the night of Saturday, July 18, 2020, and ending on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 10am.
The maintenance, which will last from 10pm on Saturday, July 18, to 10am on Sunday, July 19, will temporarily unavailable all M-Pesa services, including airtime purchase.
According to Safaricom, the timing of the maintenance has been planned to minimize inconvenience to its customers.
This is the fourth time Safaricom has conducted maintenance on the M-Pesa platform since June.
Safaricom has apologized to its customers for any inconvenience this may cause.
