Published on July 17, 2020, Safaricom has announced a planned maintenance of M-Pesa services, which will be unavailable from Saturday 10pm to Sunday 1am.
The telecommunications giant stated that the outage will facilitate scheduled maintenance, with the timing planned to cause the least inconvenience to customers.
"Our M-Pesa services shall be undergoing planned maintenance on the night of Saturday 11th July 2020, starting from 2200 hrs to Sunday 19th July 2020 0100hrs. During the interruption all M-Pesa services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable," the statement read in part.
