After a four-month closure, Nairobi's entertainment spots are slowly returning to normal. With some successful parties taking place over the weekend, it's clear that the city's nightlife scene is springing back to life.

At Onyx Lounge, Ngong Road, and Milan at The Mirage, Westlands, fumigation, temperature checks, sanitizing, and social distancing measures were in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons. In Karen, Kidum and his Bodaboda band enthralled fans during the Gire launch, while the Safari Cats lit up the party at another event.

Nadra's much-anticipated return to the music scene was marked with their EP launch at Onyx Lounge. The duo stated, 'There is no way we can just be tethered to the house. The essence of entertainment, music, and dancing is to share the moment with people. We are back to stay.'

Other notable events included P-Unit's sensational virtual performance, dubbed #wagengehao, which attracted a huge deal of old school lovers. The group took the audience through a musical journey with hits like Sio Lazima and Kushoto Kulia, with Frasha moderating the session.

Club 034 and Halcyon in Kitengela were also buzzing with activity, featuring DJ Crème De la Crème and singer Qwachez. Evergreen Park on Kiambu Road stole the show with a cover charge of Sh300 per head, while Xenia Manasseh and Bensoul performed at the Essence Fest, After Dark Jam Africa virtual performance.
