On July 17, 2020, a shocking incident was captured on camera in Hebei province, North China, where a young boy was spotted driving a toy car on a busy highway.
The boy, accompanied by a little girl, was seen navigating through flowing traffic in a fake SUV model, leaving motorists stunned.
According to a social media post from the provincial police, the children were believed to have been playing with the toy car in their neighborhood before driving it onto the main road.
Surveillance footage showed the little boy in the toy car with the young girl as they slowly drove past a stream of oncoming traffic.
However, their adventure came to an abrupt end when a woman spotted the youngsters and pulled over to stop the toy vehicle.
She is seen running across the flowing traffic to stop the toy car, and officers who were driving through the area in a police car also witnessed the scene and immediately stopped to help the children.
The adventurous children were later picked up by their parents who were contacted by the authorities.
