July 17, 2020, marked a significant return to social media for Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu, the main suspect in the brutal murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. He is currently out on bail.
After a long hiatus, during which he deleted two of his Instagram pages and changed his name several times, Jowie is back with a new profile name, Jowie.i.
His return to social media has been met with spiritual quotes accompanied by Insta stories with popular motivational songs. In one post, he wrote, 'I do not understand the mystery of Grace, only that it never leaves us where it found us! 100% #savedbyhisamazinggrace.'
Another post pointed out, 'God has a tendency of picking up a nobody, to become a somebody, in front of everybody, without asking anybody.'
It is worth noting that Jowie's previous attempts at social media presence were short-lived, with him deleting his first account after deactivating it and later rebranding to Kush Kungu, only to delete that account as well.
