Published on July 17, 2020, Kamene Goro, a popular Kiss FM radio presenter, has shared a valuable lesson she has learned in life: true friends are rare and hard to find.
During an appearance on the Morning Kiss show, Kamene Goro expressed her sentiments, stating that only a handful of people in her contact list can be considered true friends who would have her back in times of need.
She noted that these true friends are the ones who would go out of their way to check in on her, even if they have been in her life for less than a year.
However, Kamene Goro also acknowledged that she has been a good friend to many people for a long time, raising questions about the nature of her relationships.
Below are responses from Kenyans on whether they have friends who would support them through thick and thin.
@NgukaOduor: Women are often jealous, but genuine relationships can be built by having common goals and growing together.
@RamilFelix: This is very true. Women often envy each other, and a lady doesn't want to see another lady making more success than her.
@KbicNgala: Ladies are jealous of their friend's beauty, and they often put them down at every opportunity.
@Raphaelokoth16: Women find it hard to keep relationships with their ladies because they are jealous and don't know what they are doing is right or wrong.
Do women really struggle to support each other, or is it just a matter of perception?
