On July 17, 2020, Citizen TV lead reporter Stephen Letoo tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to sources close to the journalist.
Letoo, who is currently in isolation and receiving treatment, had gone for a test at an unidentified hospital in Nairobi.
He becomes the second big time Kenyan celebrity to contract the virus, following in the footsteps of flashy Nairobi pastor Burale, who recently announced he had tested positive for COVI-19.
However, unlike Burale, who beat the virus and was discharged from hospital, Letoo's current state of health remains unknown as he was unreachable for comment at the time of filing this report.
Letoo's positive test comes barely two weeks after the journalist broke the internet with photos of him and his son, who had turned a year older.
