Kenyan media personality Jalango has been making waves with his ambitious plans to transform his YouTube channel into a fully-fledged TV station.

According to Jalango, the idea was sparked by the rapid growth of his channel's subscriber base.

Speaking to Mpasho, Jalango shared his vision for 'Jalango TV', which he claims is the biggest media house in the country.

'We will do so by creating jobs,' Jalango said. 'Very soon there will be segments on Cars, fitness, and more.'

He emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for the younger generation, stating, 'A candle does not go out by lighting another person.'

When asked about criticism for paying a logo creator 'peanuts', Jalango responded with a dose of reality, saying, 'People will always talk and you can't stop them. Not everybody will love you.'

He added, 'If you want everybody to love you, sell them weed and even when you sell them bad weed, they will one day turn against you.'
