On July 10th, 2020, the Board of Directors of HF Group made the decision to retire Dr Steve Omenge Mainda as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the company, marking the end of his 11-year tenure.
Dr Mainda joined the HF Group Board in July 2009 and played a pivotal role in the company's growth and achievements, including a successful rights issue in 2015, the redemption of the 10 Billion Corporate Bond in 2017 and 2019, and the reorganization of the company to create a non-operating holding company, HF Group, in 2015.
HF Group, which began operations in 1965, has transformed from a mortgage financier to a provider of integrated property and financial solutions with interests in real estate development, commercial banking, property finance, and insurance.
