On July 16, 2020, Jalango, a co-host on Kiss FM's morning show, spoke about his pending project with Netflix, which was put on hold due to the pandemic.

Speaking with Kalondu Musyimi, Jalango revealed that his 2019 project, Satan Must Repent, was a stand-up comedy show inspired by the daily struggles of ordinary Kenyans.

The show aimed to entertain and inspire audiences, but its production was halted by the pandemic.

According to Jalango, he had discussed the project with Dorothy Ghettuba, the manager for International Originals at Netflix, who expressed interest in making it the first Netflix original from Kenya.

However, the pandemic put everything on hold, and Jalango is now praying for its end so that work can resume.

Netflix is a leading streaming entertainment service with 183 million paid memberships in over 190 countries, offering a wide variety of TV series, documentaries, and feature films.
