On July 16, 2020, a notable change in the Kenyan Christian community was observed, as female pastors began to wear trousers to church and in public appearances.

Reverend Lucy Natasha, the founder of Prophetic Latter Glory Ministries International, has been a pioneer in this trend, often wearing official trouser suits and even sweatpants and sneakers.

Her mother, Pastor Esther Wanjiru, has also been spotted wearing trousers, showcasing the influence of this new fashion trend among female pastors.

Other notable female pastors who have adopted this style include Prophetess Monicah, the founder of the Prophetic City church, and Ruth Matete, a younger pastor who was ordained last year.

Even Size 8, a former secular artiste and mother of two, has been seen rocking trousers, jeans, and sweatpants, looking great in them.
