Radio personality Maina Kageni has expressed admiration for Keroche Breweries CEO Tabitha Karanja, describing her as a strong woman who is 'made of steel.'
Speaking on social media, Maina shared a photo of himself and Tabitha, praising her resilience in the face of adversity.
‘The true definition of A STRONG WOMAN!!!! They’re trying to break her but they have no idea that this woman is made of steel!!! Tabitha Karanja, you are literally inspiration personified…. #TBT at a Keroche event….’
Tabitha Karanja has been under pressure from the Kenyan government over alleged tax evasion, with her and her husband Joseph Karanja facing up to 10 charges related to the issue in August 2019.
Despite the challenges, Tabitha Karanja has maintained a strong demeanor, prompting her daughter Anerlisa to write an open letter to President Uhuru Kenyatta in her defense.
“Dear Our President (Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta) I am writing in regards to our local entrepreneurs. I am humbly requesting you to intervene and help/protect us all in businesses. We chose you as our President. Every day our local entrepreneurs are being fought. We trust and believe that you will do something about it. Thank You. #BuyKenya #BuildKenya,”
The case against Tabitha Karanja and her husband is still ongoing.
