Kenyan TikToker Azziad Nasenya has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, and her latest achievement is hosting a new television show, 'Concert Nyumbani', alongside media personality Mwaniki Mageria.
Just three months after becoming an internet sensation thanks to the viral 'Utawezana Challenge', Azziad, 20, is set to take her career to the next level with this new gig.
According to the show's directors, Eugene Mbugua and Enos Olik, 'Concert Nyumbani' will be aired on nine TV stations simultaneously starting this Sunday at 2pm.
The show will be broadcast on NTV, KTN, K24, KBC, Switch TV, Metropol TV, Y24, TV47, and PPP TV.
Concert Nyumbani is a musical show that celebrates heroes who've emerged from the coronavirus pandemic.
"So proud to be a part of this history-making appreciation show of our Heros who go out of their way for others.. Frontline Responders, local exceptional community servers, we salute you!.... Make a date guys!! Sunday is coming," said Mageria.
Concert Nyumbani is a collaborative effort between the Kenya Film Commission and a team of talented individuals who worked on a documentary and musical show celebrating heroes who've emerged from the pandemic.
Azziad started her acting career in stage plays in high school and later joined Hearts of Art theatre group, where she played many roles while pursuing a certificate in broadcast journalism at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
Her latest announcement comes just days after she revealed that she will be hosting another show, 'The Cook-Off', alongside comedian Mulamwa.
