Kenyan YouTuber and photographer Tatiana Karanja, alias Mama Olive, has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Her two daughters, Olive and Marley, tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, July 14.
According to Mama Olive, her daughters showed no symptoms of the virus, just like her when she tested positive a few days ago. She had initially revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 in a series of Instagram videos.
On Wednesday, July 15, Mama Olive shared the news of her daughters' positive test results on her Instagram stories. She expressed her gratitude to God that the little angels were yet to show any symptoms but had to keep monitoring them.
"Yesterday afternoon we got the news that our girls are now positive. They were tested on Monday. (Incubation period is up to two weeks)," she wrote.
However, the family's ordeal did not end there. Mama Olive revealed that her sister, who was taking care of the kids while she was in quarantine, also tested positive for the virus. The sister had been negative at the time of the initial test but later contracted the virus.
"And my amazing sister @katiwiki who took care of them while I left to isolate myself is also now positive. My girls must have given it to her, though at the time when we tested the tests showed they were negative. So as per doctor's request, the kids stayed with their aunt who was also negative. Now it is a whole mess. COVID-19 sucks," she added.
