Published on July 16, 2020, a story emerged about aspiring politician Alinur Mohamed being linked to media personality Betty Kyallo. The rumors began after former media personality Ken Mijungu revealed that Kyallo was dating a Somali man.
However, Alinur Mohamed denied the allegations, calling them 'preposterous' and stating that he has a family.
But the story took a new turn when Alinur uploaded a photo with Kyallo, celebrating her. In the post, he referred to Kyallo as an 'ordinary woman doing extraordinary things.'
"Was delighted to spend the better part of today's evening with Betty Kyallo at her place. Was glad to interact with her. Betty is one of those ordinary women doing extra ordinary things in our society. Like many other women, she has had to beat many odds to reach this far." Alinur wrote.
Interestingly, Kyallo may have inadvertently fueled the rumors in her latest episode, where she hinted at having a hot date and struggled to decide what to wear.
She said, "So guys today my day is so interesting. So I have a date. I don't want this guy to watch this episode because I don't want him to know that I was so excited. My sister and I kept debating on what to wear. I did not want to wear something too short because I don't want him to think that I am out there to impress."
The episode ended with Kyallo hinting that the guy had come to pick her up for their date. What sparked the dating rumor is the fact that Kyallo was dressed in the same red dress and nude shoes she was wearing in the photo uploaded by Alinur.
