Akothee's close friend in pain after losing wife, baby on one day ¶
On July 16, 2020, secular singer Akothee's close friend Ken Otita suffered a devastating loss when his wife and infant passed away on the same day.
Akothee, who has been through her own share of struggles, including the recent loss of her adopted son, found herself in a difficult position as she tried to comfort her friend.
She admitted on Instagram that she had to 'stray strong' for Ken, but struggled to find the right words to say to him.
"Now, how do you comfort a friend who has lost a wife and an infant, that friend that you laugh with over nothing, that friend. I had to hide my tears," she wrote.
It's worth noting that Akothee has been through a tough time recently, having lost her adopted son after discovering he had a secret life. She has been asking her fans for advice on how to comfort Ken, and has even shared a photo of her recent visit to the gym, where she was trying to keep her mind off her troubles.
Her troubles just kept multiplying, and the president of single mothers asked her fans for advice so at least she could breathe for a minute.
