Kenya's entertainment scene is set to witness a historic moment with the premiere of Concert Nyumbani, a celebration of the country's emerging talent, on July 19, 2020. The concert will air on 10 TV stations simultaneously, including KBC and Y254.

Organized by the Kenyan Film Commission, the concert aims to appreciate Kenya's emerging talent who have made a significant impact during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. The event will be hosted by Azziad Nasenya, a popular TikTok creator and broadcast journalism student, and Mwaniki Mageria.

Concert Nyumbani will feature performances by Hart the band and Bensoul, among other artists. The event is a production of Documentary & Reality Television Limited, directed by Eugene Mbugua, Enosolik, and Kayt Kioko of Kipenz Films.

As the country continues to navigate the challenges of the pandemic, Concert Nyumbani serves as a beacon of hope and appreciation for the resilience of Kenyans. The event will also recognize the efforts of individuals who have gone out of their way to help their fellow countrymen during this crisis.
