It's been years since 2017, when I lost my job after failing to meet a deadline set by my boss. The experience left me feeling defeated and hopeless, but little did I know that it was only the beginning of a long and difficult journey.
On that fateful day, I returned home to share the news with my wife, but she seemed unbothered by my plight. I sensed a deep-seated disappointment in her eyes, but she chose to pretend otherwise. I knew then that I had to find a way to take care of my family, especially my seven-month-old son, who was counting on me.
As the days turned into weeks, my situation only grew more dire. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of despair, with no lifeline in sight.
