On the night of July 13, 2020, a dramatic scene unfolded in a Kenyan neighborhood as a police officer clashed with an Uber driver.
The driver, who was dropping off a female client, was stopped by the officer for working past curfew hours.
When the driver produced his letter allowing him to work past curfew, the officer attempted to open the car door, sparking a scuffle.
During the struggle, the door lock broke, and the driver became enraged, shouting at the officer to leave his car alone.
As the situation escalated, the driver started hooting to alert the neighbors, and the client tried to calm him down.
Other than the driver's recording, the scuffle was also captured by a CCTV camera mounted at the client's residence.
When the fight escalated, the client ran inside to call for help and returned with a few neighbors, but by the time they arrived, the police officer had started walking away.
