It's been years since her divorce from Dennis Okari, but Betty Kyallo has finally found closure on the reasons behind their union's demise.
Speaking to Billy Miya on his YouTube show 'Billy O'clock', Betty shared her thoughts on marriage, saying,
'The thing about marriage, at that time I was young, I didn’t want marriage as such and I didn’t see its meaning.'
She added that she has since grown as a woman and now understands herself and what she wants in life.
On her ex-husband's remarriage, Betty revealed that she is actually happy for him, saying,
'You don’t need to put a brave face in public but behind closed doors, you two are not okay. I chose to be happy and I’m even happy for him.'
The mother of one has been co-parenting with Okari, with the two even celebrating their daughter's 6th birthday together just a few weeks ago.
Reflecting on her past, Betty advised young people to take their time when it comes to marriage, saying, 'It’s your life live at your own pace.'
