Laikipia MP Cate Waruguru has called on residents to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta's development agenda, citing the numerous projects being implemented by the Head of State.
Speaking at Tigithi, Waruguru emphasized the importance of supporting Uhuru in his efforts to develop the country.
She noted that the Tangatanga faction, led by Deputy President William Ruto, lacks a development agenda for the people, unlike the government.
Waruguru, a former close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, has since defected to the Kieleweke faction, which supports President Uhuru Kenyatta.
She assured residents that Uhuru plans to launch several development projects in the region, in collaboration with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
"Miradi ya maendeleo haipatikani katika kikundi cha Tangatanga ila serikalini, hebu na tumuunge mkono Rais katika kutekeleza wajibu wake," Waruguru said.
